Fairnest Privacy Policy

Last updated: 15 August 2026

Fairnest is a family caregiving coordination app published by Bizvizor LLC (“Fairnest,” “we,” “us”). It helps families organize care for a loved one — tasks, schedules, documents, messages, and shared expenses — inside a private care circle.

This policy explains what we collect, why, and what control you have over it. It applies to the Fairnest mobile app and any related services we operate.

Information we collect

Information you give us

Category Examples
Account information Name, email address, profile photo, and your role in a care circle. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive the name and email address that provider shares with us.
Care recipient information The name, date of birth, care notes, and emergency contacts of the person your circle cares for.
Care coordination content Tasks, calendar events, shift handoff notes, journal entries, decisions and acknowledgments, and messages you send within your circle.
Documents Files you upload — which may include medical, legal, insurance, or financial records.
Financial coordination data Expenses, how they are split among circle members, and payments recorded between members. Fairnest does not process or move money.

Information collected automatically

Health-related information

Because Fairnest is used to coordinate care, the content you enter may include health information about you or the person receiving care. We treat this content as sensitive. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or analyze it to build profiles about you. Fairnest is not a healthcare provider or a covered entity, and the app is not a substitute for professional medical advice or emergency services.

How we use information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising.

Who can see your information

The most important sharing in Fairnest is the sharing you choose: content you add to a care circle is visible to the other members of that circle, according to their role and the app’s permission rules. If you invite someone to a circle, or grant a professional caregiver access, they will be able to see the circle content available to their role. Remove a member to end their access going forward.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of providers to run the app. They process data on our behalf under their own terms and security commitments:

Other disclosures

We may disclose information if required by law or valid legal process, to protect the rights or safety of users or the public, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets — in which case we will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active.

When you delete your account, we permanently remove your login so it can no longer be used, and we erase your personal information — your name, profile photo, phone number, and notification token. Your memberships are revoked, so you no longer appear in any care circle.

What remains: the content you contributed to a shared care circle — tasks, calendar events, expenses and their splits, documents, and messages — stays with that circle, no longer identifying you. We keep it because it is the family’s shared record, not yours alone: deleting it would remove other members’ history and change the expense balances they rely on. Your private journal entries are not shared content and are removed with your account.

Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. We may retain limited information where we must do so to comply with a legal obligation or resolve a dispute.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest by our infrastructure providers. Access to circle content is enforced at the database level by row-level security policies, so members can only reach the circles they belong to. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to respond promptly if something goes wrong.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live — for example, in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or California — you may have additional rights, including the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below. We will not discriminate against you for making a request.

Children

Fairnest is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it. Note that adults may enter information about a minor who is receiving care; that information is treated as care recipient content under this policy.

International transfers

We and our providers may store and process your information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above, and for material changes we will provide notice in the app. Continued use of Fairnest after an update means you accept the revised policy.
